I'm not sure what you plan on doing but if your going to normal map this you could easily lose the windows and just keep the trim/shutters. Same goes for the extrusions on the house part. There's so little offset that a normal map would work great and reduce your poly count a lot.

From the beginning with this I was going to build it high-ish poly then work out what I could use as normal maps and use the high poly for a render to texture textures. The window's will make a really nice render to texture normal maps after when I start texturing.
Thankies for the advice, any advice is awesome and anymore would be great. I still learning loads at the moment.

Sae, are the windows separate elements floating against the wall? I assume that's why there aren't edges leading to some them ?

At the moment yep they are, I'm going to work out some way to use this building as the normal map to make lower poly version, or something like that. Also I don't think everything has to be connected to one thing. I'm not sure at the moment, still learning :P

No no, I was just wondering, it's a good idea, saving on polys etc just as long as the window is solid and not a hole into the bulding, y'kno what I mean ?

ahhh yesh, sorry read your comment wrong ><
Thanks :P yeh its really handy on saving poly's, though i'm either going to have to get the poly count down lower or render to texture all the windows as the poly count at the moment is insane >_<
